Our school is a K-12 in a small town of 180 people. During Family Literacy Day our goal is to invite parents/grandparents, and community members to drop in to the school for an afternoon of 'buddy reading' with students. This buddy reading often develops into storytelling sessions between adults and students and is enjoyed by all who participate.
