ABC Life Literacy Canada works with Canada’s top businesses to create strategic partnerships that directly support communities where we live and work.

Through strong relationships with funders, media, and literacy and learning partners, we are raising awareness and providing free educational programming and resources to help adult learners and families improve their skills and confidence.

While we have had many successes, there is still much to be done. A startling 49% of adult Canadians have literacy skills that fall below a high school level. Their skills negatively affect their ability to function at work and in their personal lives, and their capacity to support the developing skills of their children as well.
