ABC Life Literacy Canada’s annual fundraiser, Letters for Literacy, engages businesses to purchase a letter of the alphabet in support of adult literacy initiatives. Funds raised enable ABC to provide literacy programs and resources to adults and their families across Canada.
Four out of every 10 adult Canadians fall below the minimum literacy requirements set by the Government of Canada. Children born to parents with low literacy skills are more likely themselves to struggle with low literacy later in life. Together, we can break this cycle and help millions of Canadians equip themselves with the skills necessary to live a fully engaged life.
Special thanks to our sponsors of the 2013 Letters for Literacy iniative, your support of the campaign make ABC's great work possible.
Help us complete the alphabet! Letters can be purchased for $5,770 each on a first-come, first-sold basis and will be confirmed via e-mail. Supporters are not limited to the number of letters they can purchase - so be creative! Reserve your letter today.
