Play-centered learning
Learning happens in many ways and at all ages. Play for Literacy includes all types of play that encourages literacy and numeracy development as well as comprehension skills. Activities including board games, card games and imaginative self-created games are all a fun way to incorporate learning into your everyday life. Games, and the carefree act of playing, provide a fun outlet in which individuals of all ages can engage in activities that inherently provide new learning opportunities to improve one’s reading, writing, math and comprehension skills.
