Munsch visits lucky family!

Family Literacy Day Honorary Chair Robert Munsch recently visited the Haynes family, winners of the Munsch at Home Contest, in Raymond, Alberta. The Haynes family won the Munsch at Home Contest for their original and creative story E-I-E-I-NO! and were thrilled when they heard the news that Robert Munsch would be visiting them at their home. In addition to reading their story for friends and family, Robert also did a public reading at a local school.

The Haynes’ story will be published alongside a special illustration created by Michael Martchenko, (illustrator of several Robert Munsch books and member of the judging panel) in a spring 2011 issue of Parents Canada. Read the Top 10 entries in the Munsch at Home contest, including the Haynes family's winning story.
