Dr. Alan Middleton Workplace Literacy and Learning Award
The Dr. Alan Middleton Workplace Literacy and Learning Award recognizes an individual for their outstanding achievement in increasing workplace literacy and essential skills in their community. The honour was established to recognize the outstanding contribution of ABC Life Literacy Canada board member and former Chair, Dr. Alan Middleton. Nominees can reflect individual employees, management, union, government and literacy professionals involved in workplace literacy and essential skills.
Award Criteria:
- individual's efforts for workplace literacy and essential skills has made community impact
- individual has demonstrated commitment to and leadership in workplace literacy and essential skills
- individual has made progress in increasing awareness for workplace literacy and essential skills
- individual is over 18 years of age
- individual is a resident of Canada
